What am I? Emergency Button or E-Stop

When pressing on an emergency push button of a door, all strike locks of the relevant door are open, and green lights flash on both sides of the door. The power supply to the strike locks is interrupted. The system goes back to normal operation as soon as all emergency push buttons are disengaged, and all doors are closed.

Tips and Tricks from the Daldrop Team

If a button is loose, it has lost its tension and needs to be recaulked. Check the video down below on how to perform this fix. If more assistance is needed, request a service call and one of Daldrop’s technicians can perform this fix.

If an E-Stop light is off, check the S5 (Door Panel) for any tripped circuit breakers. If no breakers are tripped check for voltage coming into the e-stop light, if no voltage; chase the voltage from light to the panel. If voltage is present the light has gone bad, order a replacement part and follow “E-stop Light” manual to replace light.

If an E-Stop button isn’t properly working, this is a high priority issue as the E-stops should always work. Follow similar steps as light fix, contacts rarely go bad but if replacement needed request a replacement.
